PETA Science Consortium International has selected two early-career scientists as the winners of its award to attend the ESTIV Applied In Vitro Toxicology Training Course organised by the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV). The course will be held at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology in Belvaux, Luxembourg, from 24-29 November 2024. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about and gain hands-on experience with in vitro and in silico methods.
Chiara Gazerro is a Junior Regulatory Toxicologist at ToxHub in Italy. She has a master’s degree in pharmaceutical chemistry and technology from the University of Trieste and is enrolled in a specialization school for chemical risk assessment and management at Sapienza University of Rome.
Julia Spänle is a master’s student in molecular cell biology at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau and an intern at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover in Germany.
