The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Pesticide Programs has expanded its guidance to waive the acute dermal test and allow new approaches for toxicity assessment of pesticide formulations and active ingredients. The EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs has also launched a new webpage providing information about replacing animal tests with non-animal tests that better protect humans and the environment.
